Windows : Preferences

Opens... from menu: Application > Preferences... (OS X)
from menu: File > Preferences... (MacOS)
 
InfoAllows you to configure Iconeer's general settings.
 
DescriptionStartup
-If Show Splash Screen is checked, splashscreen will be displayed at application startup.
-If Check for Update is checked, Iconeer will check for updates and latest version at the startup.


Files & Folders
Dragged Files options let you configure, how Iconeer will treat files dropped onto its icon. You can ignore those files, add them to recent images of the Icon Builder window, or process them with Iconeezer. If you choose to process them with Iconeezer, you can check the option, to quit Iconeer, after those files are processed.

Scan Into Folders options tells Iconeer that if a folder is dropped onto its icon, all subfolders will be scanned for pictures as well. Be careful with this options, if you drop a disk or a folder with deep subfolders hierarchy onto Iconeer, it may take a long time to scan through.

Icon Destination option is the default folder where your icons will be saved. This folder is used if your Output is configured to save icons into default folder.
If you leave this folder unspecified, Iconeer folder in your Documents folder will be used.


User Interface
-If Confirm Actions is checked, application will ask you to confirm taks such as item deleting. You may override this setting by pressing <Option> key when selecting the task.
-If Save Window Positions is checked, application will remember positions of the windows between sessions. To reset all positions to default, just press Reset button.


Confirm/Cancel changes
To confirm changes in your preferences, just click OK button. Clicking Cancel button will cancel all changes. Closing the window with clicking on its closebox or by choosing menu Window > Close will work as Cancel button.
